Guests at blenz locations across Canada can now donate in-store to help communities in the Okanagan recover from the BC wildfires

As wildfires continue to impact communities across the British Columbia Interior, blenz is supporting relief efforts through a national fundraising campaign for the Canadian Red Cross, inviting guests at participating locations across Canada to contribute directly at checkout.
The campaign, part of the brand’s ongoing blenz cares initiative, will help the Canadian Red Cross deliver emergency assistance to people and communities affected by wildfires in the BC Interior, including support for urgent needs and longer-term recovery and community resilience efforts as the wildfire season continues.
Coffee is the excuse for human connection, and that’s never mattered more than it does right now for our neighbours in the Okanagan. Every location across our network has an opportunity to turn a small, everyday moment – a coffee order – into real support for families who have lost so much.
How Guests Can Help
Starting today, guests at Blenz locations across Canada can support wildfire relief by donating any amount at checkout. All blenz locations will offer donations at the point of sale, with select stores also providing an in-store donation jar for cash contributions.
Locations directly impacted by the wildfires, including Kelowna, Vernon and Penticton will not participate in the fundraising campaign at this time. Two of those locations, Vernon North and Penticton, are instead offering free coffee to evacuees, a gesture the brand says reflects what community support looks like on the ground.
All donations collected in-store will go directly to the Canadian Red Cross BC Wildfires Appeal, which supports immediate relief, recovery and resilience efforts for people affected by wildfires in British Columbia, as well as community preparedness for future disasters across the province.
