As part of Blenz Coffee’s Blenz Cares initiative, we teamed up with the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) in 2025 to support two meaningful campaigns: Daffodil Month in April and Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.
With the help of our amazing guests, franchise partners, and in-store teams, Blenz raised $10,542.24 to support cancer research, education, and compassionate care across Canada. Every cup truly counted.
Daffodil Month: When Small Acts Bloom Big
During Daffodil Month, Blenz locations across Canada invited guests to make a donation in-store to support the Canadian Cancer Society. It was a simple ask with a powerful message: community always comes first.
From spare change to heartfelt contributions, every donation helped fund life-saving cancer research and essential support services for people and families affected by cancer. Proof that even small acts of kindness can bloom into something big.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Coffee With a Cause
In October, Blenz went pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, dedicating the month to raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research and support services.
One of the most special moments was Coffee by Donation Day on October 15. On that day, guests were invited to enjoy a coffee by donation at all Blenz locations. Each cup poured helped support the Canadian Cancer Society, turning an everyday coffee run into a meaningful moment of care, connection, and solidarity.
Coffee tastes even better when it’s doing good.
How Blenz Cares Makes a Real Impact
Funds raised through our Blenz Cares initiative directly support the Canadian Cancer Society’s mission to be there for people living with breast cancer, from early detection and treatment to recovery and beyond.
According to the Canadian Cancer Society Impact Report:
- CCS funds life-saving research, including AI-powered tools that help detect breast cancer earlier in younger women
- More than 1.5 million people accessed trusted cancer information through Cancer.ca in 2024
- 1,323 breast accessories were provided to individuals undergoing breast cancer treatment
- Nearly 4,200 breast cancer-related inquiries were answered through the Cancer Information Helpline
These numbers represent real people, real families, and real hope, and Blenz is proud to play a small part in making that support possible.
Blenz Cares: Giving Back Beyond the Cup
Supporting the Canadian Cancer Society is just one way Blenz Coffee gives back through Blenz Cares.
Another initiative close to our hearts is Heroes for Heroes, where we shine a spotlight on everyday community heroes, from first responders and healthcare workers, to educators and local champions who make our neighbourhoods better places to live.
Through Heroes for Heroes, Blenz Coffee celebrates the people who care for, protect, and uplift others, because we believe gratitude, kindness, and connection are just as important as great coffee.
